Teddy & Anna: Q & A

Q: What is it?
A: Teddy & Anna is an online animated cartoon series, created with Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Flash, and an (indispensible) Wacom tablet.

Q: What is the story about, exactly?
A: Teddy & Anna follows the adventures of young Anna Log and her trusty mechanical teddy bear. The story takes place in an alternate version of the 1920's and 30's, in a world where zeppelins glide above Art Deco skyscrapers, and towering "electronic brains" and labor-saving robots toil in offices and homes.

Anna's father, a robot designer and programmer, gives her a special teddy bear, that he promises will be her friend and protector. But before Anna and Teddy can really become acquainted with one another, an old nemesis of her father appears -- the Fox -- and steals some mysterious punched cards from his safe. Much to Anna's dismay, her father sends Teddy after the thief!

Q: Who is making it?
A: Right now, the entire thing is a labor of love for me, Brian Moore. I'm writing it; I'm drawing it; I'm animating it.

Q: Can you email me when a new episode is posted?
A: Yes, please see the Mailing List section.

Q: Ooh! Oooh! How can I support your animation work with my hard-earned cash?
A: I'm so glad you (*harumph*) asked. Teddy & Anna is free to watch online. Episodes from the story are also available on Video CD's, which are for sale on the Purchase page. The Video CD's are great if you don't have a fast Web connection -- no more waiting for the episode to download; just play the disc in your DVD player or computer DVD-drive.

I'm also at work on a series of Art Prints, based on the world of Teddy. Postcards are available as well.

If you enjoy what you see, but aren't interested in any merchandise, please consider making a donation via Paypal.

Q: How else can I support Teddy & Anna?
A: While financial support is great -- it literally "buys time", supplementing my normal work income and allowing me more time to work on Teddy -- audience feedback is also very helpful. Did you like or dislike something about the latest episode? Is the website easy enough to use? Feel free to send me an email with your comments, praise, or (hopefully constructive) criticism. It will be nice to hear from you.
